Nokia 2660 - black (AT&T)
The Nokia 2660 is an easy-to-use basic phone for making calls. It offers good audio quality, but it's slower than it should be.
Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t
The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t convertible Netbook tablet is priced to compete with the iPad, but underwhelming battery life and unpredictable touch response mar an otherwise sharp-looking portable.
Toshiba Satellite L505-ES5018
The Toshiba Satellite L505-ES5018 is about the cheapest dual-core laptop that you'll find, and it provides a predictably basic feature set, but boasts competitive performance, respectable battery life, and zero bloatware.
Dell Inspiron i1545-4266IBU
As a budget laptop, there are no glaring miscues with the Dell Inspiron i1545-4266IBU, but competing models offer more features for the same price, and laptops costing only a little more offer a much more current platform.
Entourage Edge
The Entourage Edge successfully answers the call for an e-book reader designed for textbooks and academics, but casual readers will find the device awkward to handle and complicated to operate.
Acer Aspire AS5532-5535 (Athlon 64 TF-20 1.6GHz, 3GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium)
The entry-level Acer Aspire AS5532-5535 can keep up with neither dual-core laptops that are still moderately priced nor a completing single-core entry-level laptop from Compaq.
2010 Nissan Xterra S 4x4
The Nissan Xterra may have what it takes to haul your gear off of the beaten path, but the S trim level is nearly devoid of cabin comforts and tech.
Pentax K-x (black, body only)
A fast, inexpensive dSLR with better-than-average low-light quality, the Pentax K-x nevertheless has some flaws, such as unreliable image stabilization, to watch out for.
Nokia E55 - white (unlocked)
The Nokia E55 will please both business-users and multimedia-minded consumers due to its slim profile, packed features, and wallet-friendly price.
Assassin's Creed II (PC)
Asus K60I-RBBBR05
The Asus K60I-RBBBR05 is a well-built budget laptop with enough power for most mainstream users. It has a decent battery life, a huge hard drive, and roomy 16-inch display. You get a lot for your money, but buyers will have to wade through a sea of bloatware.
Sony Ericsson Naite (unlocked)
The esoterically named Sony Ericsson Naite may classify as a feel-good eco-phone, but its packed feature and toolsets make it a good pick for socialites shopping in the midlevel range--daintier carbon footprints notwithstanding.
Motorola Cliq XT - silver (T-Mobile)
The Motorola Cliq XT is a nice alternative to the original Cliq, offering a sleeker design and enhanced multimedia capabilities.
Major League Baseball 2K10 (Wii)
Dell Inspiron i580-5108NBC
The Dell i580-5108NBC offers a generous mix of components including a discreet graphics card, Intel's newest Core i5 processor, and a wireless networking card. Coupled with an affordable price tag and chart-topping system performance, this multipurpose PC is well deserving of our recommendation.
V-Moda Remix Remote earphones (nero)
The V-Moda Vibe II earphones are a solid option for style-conscious iPhone and iPod users who prefer tons of bass and useful features.
Yakuza 3 (PlayStation 3)
Acer Liquid - black (unlocked)
The Acer Liquid is a solid Android smartphone with some fun extras, but it doesn't have the power of some of the other Android devices out there.
Dawn of Discovery: Venice (PC)
Ineo USB 3.0 HDD Docking Station
The Ineo USB 3.0 HDD Docking Station makes a good hard-drive docking station for those who need to work frequently with internal hard drives. It saves time and negates the need to open the computer's case.
Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX
The Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX covers the basics, and that's really all you can ask for from a $349 laptop.
God of War III (PlayStation 3)
Samsung HMX-R10 (black)
The Samsung HMX-R10's plentiful shooting features and fine-quality HD video for its class--at least in good lighting--make it a very good compact HD camcorder. However, its design definitely isn't for everyone.
HP Pavilion Elite HPE-112y
A midtower PC with a Blu-ray drive isn't for everyone, especially if that option requires you to make sacrifices elsewhere. Fortunately, HP's Pavilion Elite HPE-112y strikes the right balance between its features and performance, such that the niche customers interested in a desktop with Blu-ray won't feel like they're giving up too much.
